This page describe RR works in effect in Toscana in this period. The
most important of all are the works for the new HS line from Firenze to
Bologna.
Most of the trak is under tunnes, so only a few image and few thing to
see apart a link to the
official site of TAV

Recently have been compleded the works on the line Firenze-S. Piero a Sieve. There are two series of web pages with some pictures and a map. Repening of the rebuilt line was on 9. january 1999.
Another place where you can see works are at Bivio Olmatello, south of the station of Firenze Castello, there are works for the building of a viaduct and the junction for the line to the new railway shops at Osmannoro.
On janury 2001 have bagan the works both for the new underpass of the city of Firenze, with the new throught station, and the
picture taken on 1.1.98 at Montorsoli
