Notes on images:

Arno and Arno2 : River arno near Vicopisano december 1995,
  this one as well the Trebbio ones are not strictly railroad, but instead
  taken when trekking on old railroads row. (this is the Pontedera-Lucca line)
Campomip and Campomist: The station of Campomigliaio on the rebuild
  Firenze-Borgo S. Lorenzo line on november 1996.
The image sold1 is a particular of the thermite soldering of a rail, not yet
  finished just a km north of Campomigliaio.
Cslong and translitterexpress are images taken in november 1994 on the closed
  Livorno-Collesalvetti Line. These cars stayed there for year, until in 1994 
  by a judge rule, that said these was "abusive waste disposal" the FS had
  to move awaym hence giving in 1995 a new train on that line closed since 1962
spsst and panomu are aerial view of the renowed station od San Piero a Sieve
  images taken on nov 1996
Cure and cure2x picture are a view of the Cure junction in the city of Firenze
  in december 1996
Fi39 is a picture af the Firenze-Borgo S.Lorenzo works, this is the end of Line
  from Firenze, the concrete structure is to allow road-rail equipment to switchTrebbio1 trebbio2 and rockmu are images taken in nov 1996, no rail seen, but 
  look good as a wallpaper anyway (it is the place from where panomu has been
  taken)
Oldbridgp has meen taken just a few meter off Fi39. It is the old 1888 bridge
  that supported the line until its closure in 1943. Now it stand, but is twin
  companion a few meter south have been changed to a new reinforced concrete
  one. On the back of the Fi39 picture you can see the car that have on board
  part of the new bridge
Viabruni is the back view of the same bridge
twobridge is the view of an odd particular: while the rebuild have always been
  done on the old site, in this place the line have moved a few metars east, so   you can see the old bridge on the left and the new or the right. It is the
  only survived bridge of the original line (besides the one on viabruni, that
  is also this on a abondoned section)
