  • One abstract per paid author registration will be accepted (after peer review) for presentation in the EMMC20 conference
  • The registration fee includes the annual EUROMECH membership fee (€30). Non-EUROMECH members who register for the conference become members automatically for one year. They will be invited to renew their membership subsequently. For EUROMECH members who register for the conference, their membership will automatically be extended by two years.
  • To register as a Student (undergraduate, graduate, or PhD student), a proof of enrollment (i.e., a scanned copy of the student ID card) must be sent to the EMMC20 Conference Secretariat by e-mail (emmc2026@aimgroup.eu) to confirm the student status at the time of the conference.
  • Postdocs must register as Standard.

Regular basic and student basic fees include:

  • Delegate materials
  • Name badge
  • Admission to all Plenaries, Oral and Poster Sessions
  • Admission to the Exhibition area
  • Coffee breaks and lunches
  • The Welcome Reception

 

A limited number of places will be available for the conference dinner and can be booked and paid through the registration website on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation terms and conditions:

The cancellation of registration should be notified to the Organizing Secretariat AIM Italy in writing only (emmc2026.reg@aimgroup.eu). The registration fees less than 50€ administrative charges will be refunded if the cancellation is announced before April 15th, 2026. After this date, no refund will be possible.

 

Refunds will be processed and issued 60 days after the congress.

 

Unexpected cancellation of the event or impossibility to hold it
In the unlikely case that the EMMC 2026 cannot be held in whole or in part due to any event beyond the Organisers’ control or force majeure (such as riot, fire, explosion, accident, flood, earthquake, sabotage, strikes, pandemic, acts of any government, etc.) the Congress Organisers cannot be held liable for any damage, cost, or loss incurred, such as registration fee or any other direct or indirect loss or consequential damage.

 

VISA

Depending on your citizenship, you may need to obtain a visa before coming to Italy.

It is the delegate’s responsibility to investigate the visa requirements for Italy and to apply for a visa, if necessary.

The Conference Organizers and/or the Organizing Secretariat will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants.


Visas should be requested up to 4 months before departure, as the application process can take several weeks.

The official VISA letter and invitation to the conference can be downloaded through your personal page at the registration area of the conference website.
The VISA letter will not be legally or financially binding on the Organizing Secretariat. Expenses related to the conference shall be borne by the delegates themselves.

We invite you to download the VISA and invitation letter together with the ID Card of the Inviting host (C.I) and together with our Chamber of Commerce Registration Paper (VISURA ACT). Those 2 enclosures are mandatory for Visa application.
