This event will be the occasion to present the 4th edition of an Arabic Booklet on Palmyra. This booklet aims to develop a social program for local communities, especially for refugees in Azraq Camp in Jordan. By telling the history of Palmyra, the booklet insists on the multicultural aspects of this city on the Silk Road. By taking into consideration the importance of textile and fashion in the iconography of Ancient Palmyra, the members of the Project have produced canvas for embroidery workshops whose designs are inspired by or take up adornments from the destroyed temple of Baalshamîn.
